Special Thanks to US Congressman Neguse, Governor Polis, Representative KC Becker,
our County Commissioners, Elected Officials and County Staff for pursuing economic solutions for individuals and businesses losing income.
The sad news on June 30th of more county layoffs and budget reductions is truly another hit to our small county. My thoughts go out to all of you who are coping during the economic squeeze and the Coronavirus outbreak.
It' a time of coming together to help your neighbors, family and friends be safe and healthy as we adjust to changes in our daily lives. Thank you to our emergency responders, human services groups, food banks, local businesses safely reopening, and volunteers reaching out to the most vulnerable in our community.
When we offer our compassion and a helping hand we are a stronger community.
Thanks to the every one of you who VOTED in the Primary election June 30!
I appreciate the support on my campaign journey and your vote November 3.
Hi! With the temporary halt to community gatherings, I'm keeping up with local and county meetings via Zoom, Facebook, and websites. I've called or emailed many to check in and offer resource information. Until the March closures I'd been attending community groups, county commissioner meetings and events since last July to meet residents and listen to your thoughts about Gilpin County. During Coronavirus I've continued to volunteer for the food banks, grow veggies to donate, organize and deliver donations, and make Mountain Masks.
Please feel free to contact me.
Let's have a conversation about Gilpin County! Be well, Sandy
